On the occasion of World Heart Day on 29th September 2021, Rotary India had given a call for Nationwide Diabetes Checkup Campaign. Responding to this call, Rotary Club of Jalgaon west and Rotaract Club of Jalgaon West conducted a Mega Campaign for Defeat Diabetes Camp where more than 750 citizens of Jalgaon City were examined free of cost at various locations in the city like Rotary Bhawan - Mayadevi Nagar, Redcross Society, City Police Station and CA Bhawan. 102 members of our club actively participated in this camp.
1st October 2021, On the occasion of World Senior Citizen Day, RC Jalgaon West had organised an Orthopedic check-up Camp at Matoshri Anandashram.
Our club members Dr Bhushan Jhavar, Dr Gaurav Bafna & Dr Pankaj Kochar actively participated & examined all 45 senior citizens of Matoshri Anandashram.
Our member Rtn Sudam Wani provided Medicines, Orthopaedic belts and hot water bags worth ₹ 12500 to all the needy patients.
Medical committee chairman Rtn Dr Anand Dashputre took a lot of efforts to make this camp successful.
Rtn Dr Kalpesh Gandhi helped in checking Blood sugar of all the patients.
Rotary Club of Jalgaon West in association with Rotaract club of Jalgaon West organized Lord Ganesh Idol collection and Immersion Camp at Rotary Bhawan, Mayadevi Nagar, Jalgaon.
People living nearby our Rotary Bhawan and other people along with our Member’s brought and gave their Lord Ganesha’s Idol for immersion in the water on the last day of Ganesha Festival.
We also collected Nirmalya in this Camp.
On16th September 2021, Wedistributed Books and stationary items as per school's requirements for 162 school students of Takarkheda school.

On 05th September 2021, on the Occasion of Teacher’s Day, We at Rotary Club of Jalgaon West had felicitated 12 Teachers from different fields were felicitated with Nation Builder Award. Chairman of Keshav Smruti Pratishthan, Shri Bharat Amalkar was the Chief-Guest of this function.
We felicitated 12 Teachers out of which Shri Padmakar Patil sir, Takarkheda, was declared as Adarsh Teacher by Zilla Parishad, Jalgaon a day before our function.

Rotary Club of Jalgaon West is undergoing a project of beautification of Jalgaon Railway Station by applying posters with message regarding Covid 19 Precautions and general messages during travel throughout the Railway Station Premises. This project was inaugurated by the hands of our Beloved DG Rtn Ramesh Meher Sir on 19th August 2021. AG Rtn Dr Govind Mantri, President Rtn Krishnakumar Wani, Hon. Secretary Rtn Anup Asawa, PP Rtn Vinod Biyani, Treasurer Rtn Gaurav Saphale, Rtn Vineet Joshi, President Elect Rtn Sunil Sukhwani, Station Master Agrawal Sir were present at this moment. Project Chairman Rtn Vineet Joshi & his team is taking all the effort for this project.
Ranbhaji festival Rotary Club of Jalgaon West in association with Maharashtra State Agriculture Department, Jalgaon and Department of Agricultural Science, Jalgaon had organised Ranbhaji Festival (Vegetables that grow without cultivation in Forest) These vegetables grow naturally and have Ayurvedic importance also. They are full of nutrients and increase the immunity which is the need of the hour to fight against this dreadful disease of corona. We should include these vegetables in our food items at least twice a week. More than 75 farmers from 15 talukas of Jalgaon district came to Rotary Bhavan with many different varieties of Vegetables & put up their stalls. We got very huge response from the people, we managed & maintained proper social distancing & sanitisation Chief Guest Mrs. Ranjanatai Patil, President of Zilla Parishad, Jalgaon inaugurated the project. She appreciated, praised & was overwhelmed with the project as it is important in this crucial time. Guest of honour was District Collector Shri Abhijit Raut, MLA Rtn Rajumama Bhole. They were pleased by the efforts of the Rotary Jalgaon West Members. Project chairman Rtn Yogesh Bhole, President Krishnakumar Wani, Hon. Sec. Anup Asawa & all Members took the efforts to make the project successful.
World Breastfeeding Week is an annual celebration which is held every year from 1 to 7 August in more than 120 countries. Rotary Club of Jalgaon West and Jalgaon People's Co-operative Bank Ramdas Patil Smriti Seva Trust jointly launched World Breastfeeding Week and Milk Donation Camp. On this occasion, Dedicated staff of Human Milk Bank and mothers who donated milk were honoured by PDG Kishore Kedia, PDG Rajiv Sharma and IPDG Shabbir Shakir.
Lactating mothers in Jalgaon started excess milk donation to help save babies. Mother's milk is important for an infant's survival and health, especially premature and sick babies.
A request to all Lactating mothers, you can save lives by donating your excess breast milk at MATA-AMRUT (Mother's Milk Bank) at Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Hospital.

On 31 st July 2021, Rotary Club of Jalgaon West with Rotaract Club of Jalgaon West arranged Mega Blood Donation Camp Supported by Indian Redcross Society, Jalgaon.
This camp was inaugurated by Chief Guest PDG Kishor ji Kedia at Rotary Bhavan, Mayadevi Nagar, Jalgaon.
Total 32 Blood Bags were collected in this camp.
Later PDG Kishor Kedia ji also visited Covid-19 vaccination Centre & Orthopedic Library at Rotary Bhavan.

In view of covid pandemic, the central oxygen system was very useful for treatment & saving lives of thousands of needy patients. Responding to request of Hon. Collector Jalgaon, Rotary club Jalgaon West has taken initiative to make a provision for installation of central oxygen system at various Taluka places in Jalgaon district. We have completed 243 Beds with Centralized oxygen system across Jalgaon District. Total project cost was arranged by Rtn Chandubhai Satra from Donors and project managed & coordinated by PP Rtn Dr Rajesh Patil.

We all are facing the biggest pandemic of this century i.e. COVID-19. It was very important to vaccinate the people as early as possible to mitigate the infections caused by Corona virus. With a view to help the people in getting vaccinated, Rotary Club of Jalgaon West started the vaccination center with all the requisite amenities at Rotary Bhawan, Mayadevi Nagar, Jalgaon in association with Civil Hospital Jalgaon. The club started the vaccination center on 8th March, 2021. The amenities provided at the center by the club included - 3 Laptops, high speed wi-fi connectivity, computer operators, service of Doctors, washroom, drinking water and resting room, a big tent outside hall with sitting arrangements. Around 40 to 50 Rotarians R'Anns and 5 Rotaractors are providing their services as volunteers on regular basis. 3-4 Rotarians come at 6 A.m. to register the name of people. The tokens are distributed to people whose name are registered at 7 A.m. The process of giving vaccines starts from 9 A.m. onwards. The session usually ends by 5 P.m. During this whole session, 5-7 Rotarians and Rotaractors are always there to give appropriate information and directions to the people for getting vaccinated. This is the unusual activity of Rotary during this Pandemic situation of Covid19. The project is running since 8th March, 2021 and Rotarians are present as volunteers everyday.
Rotary Foundation Global Grant Project - ROTARY COVID 19 ICU UNIT was inaugurated on 20th December 2020. Under this Project we provided medical equipment and hospital beds to address COVID-19 at Ulhas Patil Medical College and Hospital in Jalgaon, India. Project cost was around 34 Lakh. Rotary Club of Tallahassee (USA) RI District: 6940 is International Global Grant partner for this project. A separate ward for ROTARY COVID 19 ICU UNIT developed at Hospital includes all ultra-modern medical Equipment such as Ventilators, 05 motorized beds, Defibrillators, Infusion pumps, Monitors etc. It is beneficial for not only corona patients but for other treatments also. This ward is free for lower income families. Around 50 Patients are treated & benefited every month.

Rotary Club Jalgaon West officially dedicated the water reservoir and check dam to the people of Gadegaon on 12th June, 2021. Knowing the important and scarcity of water as a resource, we constructed a water reservoir and cement check dam on a canal for the people of Gadegaon. This reservoir will help in providing drinking water for at-least 50 years to the people of Gadegaon and nearby villages. Total 50 million litres of water will be collected & stored in this dam. Nearly more than 250 acres of farming land will get benefited, water level of all nearby wells will rise. The project is completed with funding from R.G. Manudhane Foundation for Excellence, Mumbai, and support by PP Rtn. Sandeep Kabra & Annet Sonia Sandeep Kabra. Total cost of the project was 17 lakh rupees. The construction worked was done by our Project Chairman Rtn. Rahul Pawar and team. President Rtn. Tushar Chitte, Secretary Rtn. Kekal Patel, PP Rtn Sandeep Kabra, AG Rtn Yogesh Bhole, Project Chairman Rtn. Rahul Pawar, Rtn Sanjay Ingle, Rtn Digvijay Patil, Sarpanch of village Macchindra Sapkale, Vice-Sarpanch Tushar Patil & villagers of Gadegaon were present for the dedication ceremony.
